Tomos Watkin's Merlin Stout takes the Champion Stout Award for 2006 in the Great Welsh Beer and Cider Festival or Gwyl Fawr Cwrw a Seidr Cymru!
This annual event is held at the end of November each year in the magnificent setting of City Hall in Cardiff. Organised by the local branch of CAMRA, it's the largest such event in Wales and offers more than 150 traditional ales together with more than 30 ciders and perriers for the discerning drinker to sample..............what a way to start your Christmas celebrations !
