Hurns Mineral Water Co was established over 100 years ago by the redoubtable Arthur A Hurn.
Originally based in Northampton Lane it produced soda water, ginger beer, lemonade and cordials in bottles which are now collector's items (so if you have any they're worth a few bob!)
Their early philosophy was a simple one...' to produce discerning products for a discerning population'.
A philosophy which Phil Parry is happy to embrace today as he continues the family tradition and guides the company with firm (yet gentle) hands into the twenty first century................and beyond !

By 2002 Hurns had grown into the largest independent producer and distributor of beer in South Wales and, with the acquisition of the famed Tomos Watkin Brewery , entered a new, exciting phase of development.
In the 'old days' we would brew to order on 1 or 2 days a week, but now it's, literally, all hands to the pump 5 days a week under the watchful eye and stewardship of head brewer David Campbell, who believes he has the best job in the world.
He loves making it and he loves drinking it......and if he says it's the best beer in the World, it must be !
Now an integral part of the fabric of Swansea, Hurns owns a number of local pubs and is proud to employ upwards of a 100 people and is a significant investor in South Wales and its future.
